The glorified senior year comes with its advantages but weighs down students with paperwork, applications, and stress. Senior spotlight is a new series on the Purple Gem meant to give voices to seniors at Bowling Green High School through their walk to college, the military, or a career path.
Throughout this series, seniors will be sharing their experience preparing for their transition out of high school by publishing their college scholarship and application process. Many underclassmen have questions about preparing for college, so seniors will use this platform to share first-hand what they have learned.
Senior spotlight will also give light to the work that the BGHS seniors are putting in for the benefit of their future, such as finished college essays and future plans.
